How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking 6–8 weeks in advance for Saturday classes, and up to a fortnight for classes held Monday to Friday (although there are sometimes places still available at short notice — so it's always worth checking).
-
What do I need to bring?
Please bring a pen if you wish to make notes and for safety wear enclosed shoes with non-slip soles.
We'll provide a recipe kit, ingredients, all cooking equipment and an apron.
-
What if I can't make it to the class?
Once classes are booked we are unable to transfer bookings.
You may, however, send someone in your place.
-
How many people participate in each class?
Each class has between 12 and 14 participants.
-
What is the format of a typical class?
All our classes are structured in the same way: the first part is the introduction and the second part is the hands-on cooking, where you create the menu for the day, eat as you go and finally sit down and enjoy the food at the end of the class.
-
Can I request specific dishes to learn?
Yes, you certainly can in our Private Classes which are tailored for groups of 12 to 14. Please speak to Ajoy on 0411 463 3485 or send us an email to discuss your specific requirements.
-
Can I bring my baby, toddler or kids to the class?
No, our classes are not child-friendly. We recommend you do not bring any children of any age to the class. You may enrol children over the age of 15 years in a class, if they have some hands-on cooking experience.
-
Do I need to bring my Confirmation Letter to the class?
Yes, we would recommend that you bring your Confirmation Letter/Email and/or your Gift Certificate to the class.
-
Can I redeem my Gift Certificate after the expiry date?
Please email us to discuss an extension if your Gift Certificate has expired.
